I've read quite a bit on building a CCVM, but I just want to make absolutely sure that this design is modular and optimal before I drop the 220+
Thanks for you're help! Pumped to get this thing going. Running gen 2 of UJSSM after I get it built and cleaned.
Here's a quick little drawing. Let me know if it needs clarification.

Looks OK but if its all Stainless steel you should stick some copper scrubbers in the top .There should alsways be some copper in the accending column .
I personally don't like high proof from a reflux still being collected above a gas burner . Can you orientate the liebig and possibly make the spout longer to keep the output at least a few feet to the side of fhe burner . I just know how wasy spillage can be when I'm changing jars .

My recommended goto .

Sorry, just the tee will be stainless. Yeah, good insight on the proximity of the distillate to the burner. I didn't consider that. I actually already built the condenser, but I may put a little more 2" between the tee and the 90 to increase the distance. Thanks.

Looks like a VM rather than a CCVM.

looks fine. I take it that's a dial thermometer? You'll be able to swing the PC out away from the boiler at the elbow

No valve on there. Yes, a dial thermometer. Yep, plan is to put it at a 45.
