interesting but nothing earth startling.

Tequila has a melancholy affect on me like no other drink.
I don't like its taste anyway, and I despise its chemistry.

Many have indicated here on the Forum that they experience a different feeling when they consume their own product as apposed to commercial.

I react poorly to tequila, from the vile scent to how anaesthetised I feel from it.
My AG bourbon? I haven't been at it long, but the white is like comfort food. Even at 47%, its its subtle, comforting, predictable.

Re: Biology of the BUZZZZZZ
As told to me by Larry Taylor.....
One of the top distillers in the country said back in the day he took a bunch of good high moonshine to a party and after it was all gone wasn't nobody sloppy drunk like they wanted to be...They went and got store bought and got the drunk they was lookn for..
He told me lotsa folks actually prefer a mass produced dirty likker with all the conjeners than a good clean proper craft.
I don't get near the bad buzz I used to back in the day.
To me, nothin like a good likker buzz..Quality.

I think I've posted before that most of my own kids, all adults, don't like my clean booze. They want the buzz.
Last week I had a blind taste test of my rum and two expensive commercial bottles. One guy, said he liked the commercial better because it had more bite and buzz!

Only real alcoholics prefer the clean stuff. The part timers want to get wrecked quickly so the more congeners the better!DAD300 wrote:I think I've posted before that most of my own kids, all adults, don't like my clean booze. They want the buzz.
