First build
I made this with a 1/4 bbl keg, 2”x3’ tower, and 1/2”x3’ Liebig jacketed in 3/4”x2’. Let me know what you think! I plan to pack it, and make a modular build with a gin basket and or a tower condensing system of some sort.

Re: First build
I can’t seem to get a picture uploaded...
Re: First build
the res has to be low enough. you can down grade it in paint or gimp. then hit the upload radio button on the bottom left of your screen under the text box. I had the same issue.

Finished soldering. Once I bought flux and mapp gas that wasn’t 10 years old it went quite well! Waiting for a thermometer I ordered, ang I need a burner, then I clean and test it.
Re: First build

Sweet little rig . You'll get some good stuff from that .
My constructive critism would be to see if you can reflow the solder and twist that end cooling connection so its pointing in the same direction as the one at the top . Reason being so that both your coolant lines hang straight down ....they tend to have a habit of kinking and stopping flow if connected at the top . .... unless you support them .

Absolutely right! I have an issue with that! I actually run a pump from a cooler with ice water. Works great but kinks here and there.

Ran a batch of wineos sugar wash and it came out great! I pulled 120 proof down to about 40 and then mixed and matched and flavored some. It all turned out well and some of the tasters are old shine folk! They love it. I think with some stainless in the tower I could get 150-180 proof on a first run! I think this is a great whiskey still though!
