I'm not 100% certain that I'll be able to be at the party in person this year. A few things have came up that require more of my attention than what I originally thought. I'm still sending things up for the party, but it may not be me.
SCD/Panikry I'll be in touch if things change, and I'm more certain if I can come.

Re: S3:18 - Suburbia Edition
Can't wait for this! Right now I'm bringing:
coconut sugar distillate, aged on Japanese maple and hard maple, backsweetened with filtered coconut sugar simple syrup.
rum, aged on Japanese maple, hard and soft maple, french/hungarian/american oak, backsweetened with my crazy caramel(TM) and a touch of clarified dunder added
mango pear cherry (rainier) brandy, no wood, aged/macerated fresh mango, dried mango (no sugar), fresh rainier cherries, asian/bartlett/bosc pear, backsweetened/proofed with mango wine and pear con.
(^this was the distillate that was my 'juicyfruit' and was a kitchen sink, but no sugar wash)
lychee papaya pear brandy, no wood, aged/macerated canned lychee, dried papaya (rinse/soak 5 min hot water to remove sugar), backsweetened with lychee juice (proofed with) and pear con.
apple pear brandy, no wood, aged macerated with honeycrisp/fuji apples, asian/bartlett pear, backsweetened with AJ concentrate (proofed) and pear con.
[brandies were all 85 proof before fruit in]
pancake (maple syrup) rum, aged on Japanese/hard/soft maple, yellow birch, hungarian oak, backsweetened with maple syrup
another rum - fermenting now - not sure how I'll treat it yet, depends how the distillate tastes, wash from molasses/turbinado/coconut sugar
Maybe somethings more, not sure what, we'll see!

Re: S3:18 - Suburbia Edition
Good evening crew. Thinking I might like to attend if it's not too late. Just read through the thread and it sounds like a good time. Plus it would definitely be nice to meet some of you (all of you? ). I'll PM you shortly Panikry about options.
I do like to cook. If I come I may try to bake something and possibly bring some other homemade options: Banana Cake, Sunday Challa Bread, Peanut/Almondbutter Kimchi Burgers. OK, perhaps the last one sounds frightening, but I assure you it's quite tasty.
I don't have too much in the beverage arena, but the rum I have is 2 yrs aged and quite good (to my not so discriminating taste ), and I just made my first batch of Ginger Liquor, which... tastes like a first batch I expect. That said, I do have some ciders and meads that I can bring which might be a nice respite from the harder things in life for some of us.
Cheers!

Re: S3:18 - Suburbia Edition
Just about a week away guys. Let's get a role call going and maybe an estimated day of arrival (ie. Fri / Sat). SCD and I are getting everything pulled together - I wanna see what everyone's looking to bring so I can fill in the blanks as well.

sent you a txt
Yeah we were thinking about chicken and pork already. SCD is gonna have his smoker here already. If TB feels like tagging his along for the ride, we can certainly put it to good use. More meats = more food to soak up more liquor!
