Liquor flavored wine

Sugar, and all about sugar washes. Where the primary ingredient is sugar, and other things are just used as nutrients.

Liquor flavored wine

Post by Fishinmurph »

I've been noticing stores all over selling liquor flavored wine.
Whiskey, vodka, tequila, rum, fireball.
Just wondering if this is just a flavored, fermented sugar wash?
Anyone doing this?

Sounds funky. Are they making fortified wine by adding other spirits? I'm familiar with a product called chocovine which is a cheap red wine with mudslide and raspberry syrup added. Kinda tasty, literally panty dropper. It's gotten me laid a few times!

Not sure if I'm wasting time and effort responding to this - but I suspect the "likker flavoured win"e is a still spirits invention - Turbo wash without stillin' just add "Still spirits " flavourings ! Yuck ! :esad:

jb, that's the plan.
Either rum or HBB or red wheat or all corn. That's what I have on hand for grains.

It's a trick for getting around US liquor licensing laws, being fermented but not distilled, different rules apply.
