Anyone here bid on this bottle?

What do you drink, and how do you drink it?

Anyone here bid on this bottle?

Bit out of my range, I wonder if it'll ever get drunk?

I'd christen my bass boat with it by accident.

We owned three of those bottles. The first one broke 20 years ago. My little son played with wooden building blocks and threw one of them against the bottle. Then recently my son took the second bottle to a party. He thought it was one of my homedistilled Whiskies. Next morning he told me "hey daddy, your elder Whiskies taste unbelievable crappy". Now we thought it's better to sell the third bottle.

My neighbor 2 doors down was gifted a bottle of Macallan from the 70's and he shared the last of it with me. It too, tasted unbelievably crappy.

For shiggles, I looked up and found the exact bottle on an investment whisky site (forget the name) with a $7000+ price tag.

I've had a decent blended scotch that's a $40 retail and then a $500 single malt right after. I'd say price downs t make it anymore palatable. The blended scotch was amazing palatable, fruity, and just made my tastebuds sing. The higher end kne was overly pleated, funky, burnt my tounge and wasnt pleasant to drink. I had a second and third glass of the blended. Price doesnt always mean it's nice to drink. Seems like an investment which is only worth the label and sealed bottle
