Just found out he had passed .He was one of a kind and a good friend to me and to HD .Lived the dream as co founder of Coppersea distillery.
I use a pot still.Sometimes with a thumper

Sorry to hear, its been almost 4 years since his last post makes me wonder about other members that were prominent on the forum that just dropped out of site (so to speak).
