An excellent idea, Tater! With the stealthy nature of our hobby we don't know if someone simply lost interest and faded away or if they actually passed away. An on going memorial post that acknowledged those who are no longer on the green side of the turf, so to speak, would be a respectful addition to our forum.
We should all ask those we cherish to post our passing to our "extended families" here and on any other forums we value.
I don't know if we have to arrive at a cleaver date to honor our brothers, starting this day would be fine. If we have to select a special date, the anniversary of the repeal of the Volstead Act (Prohibition) December 5, 1933 might be appropriate...Just Sayin'

It's a nice idea, Tater. May I suggest Feburary the 6th: it is the feast of Saint Amandus, patron of beermakers and winemakers.

Sounds good to me Irish ...or seeing as how the subject arose due to the passing of Fourway that day might be appropriate , it could be a fitting remembrance of an early contributing member.

I like it, also this might be a good time to reach out to members with a PM that have been active but have dropped off the grid for one reason or another and see if we can get them back and/or find out about them.
