Is my mash any good ?

Post by islandgreen1971 »

I had made some really goid mash about a year ago. A all grain, corn, rye, and malted barley. Got really goid conversion on all, and used enzy mash. Fermented all the way, but I have a bad back FRIM surgeries, so it has been sitting in a barrel for months. Wife says it has to go ! Is it any good ? Smells really good, lol. I hate to toss it, but if it's no good so be it. Thanks ahead for any responses!

Fire that pot up amd make some steam. What's to lose?
I don't drink alcohol, I drink distilled spirits.
Therefore I'm not a alcoholic, I'm spiritual.

run it even if it smells of vinegar.

I've let ferments sit for 4 months without an issue.
I know Myles had a rum ferment sitting for 8 years that was still good.

so yeah, run it
