Odin Happy 50th! Look forward to having 50 more

Thanks guys. We had an amazing party here last night. With a pro cook we sorta made our own dinner. Got a trip to Munich with my son, two bottles of wine from 1969, a gift card for a tattoo (?) and a concept 2 indoor rower that I intend to use to train for the Dutch national record on the 500 meters, category above 50.

My senior citizenship starts its first day post celebration with a hangover. Since I am taking better care of myself, my ability to process alcohol has drastically gone down. I can still have a few glasses of my own (since it is well cut), but the moment wine or beer enters the party, the man with the hammer pays me a visit.

So today's goal is to take it easy, get some work done, make sure there is Ibuprofen, and maybe assemble my new indoor rower and give it a crank.

I am proud and happy to see our house has become a place where family and friends meet and mingle, where harmony seems to take its position center stage. 50 is scary, but the kick-of was awesome.

Glad it was a good one, that Smokey Rye sounds interesting as I really like the malted rye whiskey I make.
