Happy St. Patrick's day to all! I have been a home brewer and wine maker for 20+ years. Wanted to try something else and love my bourbon, so I though I might try to make some. Still reading and figuring things out. Just meet someone that use to be a moderator here and they are going to help me out making my first still. Looking forward to taking in tons of info here.

Welcome to HD Eddie. Having an ex mod for a bud should make for a proper still. All the info is here and folks to help when your ready. Also Happy St Pat's to ya also. Getting ready to make some Irish soda bread for the corned beef and cabbage dinner tonight. Say HI to Wally and the Beav for me.

Welcome, now you have me curious who your friend is! It’s a great hobby and sounds like you will get some great hands on advice. Good luck and be safe.

Eddie you are a lucky joker! If the HD Goddess is going to help you with your still, you are WAY ahead of the game already. If you are sweet, perhaps she will mentor you in a few of her secrets as well.
