Hello All.

Just found this forum and after a short amount of reading I recognize the wealth of knowledge, skill and expertise of the members here. I began as a winemaker. Some of my early experiments fell short of my expectations leaving me with gallons of sub-par consumables. "Waste not, want not", so I distilled it, somewhat successfully. Now I have "the bug". Anything worth doing is worth doing well so I hope to improve my knowledge, ability and product.

I am currently undertaking a build to replace my tiny packed column assemblage. Looking around here has answered questions I hadn't even thought to ask. Thanks to everyone who has posted. You have saved me from a lot of wasted time and effort by making my own mistakes.
