As first excuse me for my poor English ... I'm writing from Italy.
I am planning the construction of my first still and I would like to have your opinion.
I'am oriented to produce a flavored distillate in small quantities for personal use.
The idea is to use a CM as shown here https://homedistiller.org/wiki/index.php/index.ph ... management, but with a coil dephlegmator, maintained at a predetermined temperature T (for example T=90° C).
The result should be that the vapors passing over the dephlegmator have the same temperature T of the dephlegmator, regardless of the temperature of the vapors rising from the boiler.
This would allow to have a run with a fairly constant ABV, until the end of the condensate outlet at the condenser.
The set temperature T would also regulate the ABV.
On how to keep the coil at temperature T I have some ideas, but before doing unuseful work, I would like to know what you think about this variant of the traditional CM
Thanks a lot
CM with coil dephlegmator
