Placement of thermometer on a pot still

HI All,

Work on my first still is proceeding. The pot is done and the cap/lyne arm should be done this week.

My question is about locating a thermometer. I want one in the vapor column. Should that be in the cap, the Lyne arm, at the end of the Lyne arm or?
