Adding to column for CCVM

So here is my current column and condenser.

Here are my plans to extend it and use it for CCVM.
- Add 24 inch tube above current 12 inch tube.
- Pack all 36 inches of column with copper mesh.
- Add in a sight glass above new 24 inch tube.
- Add 8 inch tube on top of stainless T-tube.
- Bend reflux condenser from 1/4 inch copper tubing.
- finished length of 12 - 14 inches.

I am looking for comments and suggestions if I am going in the right direction,
or if I am way off base.
