I am looking to build a boiler/thumper using two 15.5gal kegs that will include a steam outlet valve to confirm steam is being produced prior to directing it into the thumper. (A - B in the drawing below; valve will be at the end)
In a second configuration, I would like to direct the steam into a 35gal HDPE mash barrel. (A - C in the drawing below; steam outlet valve will be moved to the middle)
In either case, I would like to tri-clamp a 1/2” ball valve to shut off the flow of steam once it has begun thus diverting it to the vessel.
I have copied this idea from Scarecrow’s steam rig here.
Will this work?
TIA
