2” sight glass

Hello!
I ordered a 2” reflux column from AliExpress. I’m getting the rest of the stuff to be able to run it as a ccvm still. Instead of using a simple T at the top of the column I thought it would be cool to use a 2” cross with a sight glass cover on the opposite end of the T. USA lab has a polycarbonate window https://www.usalab.com/polycarbonate-s ... dgEALw_wcB are these safe to use or should I use the meta glass https://www.usalab.com/meta-sight-glass-various-sizes/
Any reason why a cross wouldn’t work? I figured it would be neat to see the coil in position and what not.
