Made myself a simple stripper setup, gas fired.
It goes from the 2" sanke up to two 2inch to 3inch conical reducers like a little expansion chamber. There is a copper plate in the middle of the two. The reducer that makes the top half has a thermowell in it. Above that there is a mesh packed 2" x 24" spool, going to two 90s which connect to my 2" shotgun. The copper is in there for sulfide removal. Also theres a few pieces of copper in my boiler for the same reason. Easy to throw together.
Doing a stripping run of corn whiskey now
I find it better than running my flute with no plates when i just want to strip. The 2" heats faster than the 3" flute section and sight glasses and all. Just thought id share.
