I am thinking of running one 6” bubble plate with caps at the top of my boiler below either one of my 3 inch or 4 inch bubble plate columns. Also thinking of running it below a packed column with a lm head. Has any one done this and what was your experience on how it ran. I ask because if that wheel has been created and tested there is no reason for me to reinvent it if it’s a dud. Any experience from the group would be great. I already have a 6 inch tri clamp at the top of my boiler and a conical adapter to 4 inch I use for my column. I was just going to make or buy a plate and slip it into the joint.
Thanks for any info you may have.
