Newbie Intro

Post by Brock O »

Hello,

Still reading away so decided to register, introduce myself...seems to be an endless forum of knowledge which is great.....Massive!! I recon I might get lost.

Well I'm from Perth Western Australia....main hobbies are fishing and diving, taxi driver for my young daughter who is pretty active with sport.
Been brewing beer for about 6 months...not sure what lead me to wanting to make me own Pot Still besides my love for a few drinks when watching sport after a hard week at work, been loving the beer, bit of a budget and found the beers to work out pretty economical compared to buying it here at $50 a box.

Any way....I've already made a start on my Keg Pot still, bit more Tig work and I'm ready to get the copper for the column....slow process but loving it, look forward to my first mash although could be another month or so away.

Cheers

Brock

Welcome Brock. That's pretty steep for commercial beer. Welcome to a great repository of information. Takes a little digging sometimes, but the info is here if you turn a few pages. If you can tig, you've got a leg up on 90% of us. We all like copper and stainless porn, so post pictures when your build is complete.
