My still is setup in pot still mode with 3/4"(19mm) over 1/2"(12.7mm) condenser 44"(1.1m)
1. I can pull off a qt every 10 min but it is only 55 proof. Is there anything wrong running that fast or should I go for a higher proof?
2. Is it ok to have copper scraps in the kettle? I have read it somewhere about if you can or not but can not find it. tried searching for "copper in kettle" "copper scraps".
3. if using Sodium carbonate in stripped liquor to remove esters how much to use in qt or L?
