Hard to tell, Corsaire. Looking close up at the pic doesn't indicate the filtration size (microns). I think there would be a difference between filtering barley husks out for lautering and keeping corn fines out during a steam mash.
I wouldn't mind trying one out, but they don't ship to the U.S.
