I been lurking for sometime. Built my own column, non reflux, with 5 gal pot and soon to have a traditional thumper.

Anyways, did my first run few days ago, did my second yesterday. I only did a simple cornmeal wash, but 2 run turned 150 proof and out of 5gal, i got .68 gal. Figured not too bad. But, hopefully my corn maize will be better. Im a little worried however, cuz it be smellin like um......vomit?

sounds like ya got an infected ferment, ya got a lid or at least a towel over the top to keep it clean?

Run it when it's done anyway, never through out anything
