Looking to build and discover the joys of my first still. Was given two beer kegs recently, one a pony, so have no excuse not to build one, right?
Grew up around a lot of people with home stills, but never really took an interest in it until recently. I am a big fan of single malts and ryes, so wouldn't mind experimenting with some of my own.
been reading lots of the threads here, fantastic information. hopefully one day I can contribute.

Hey Amphibious welcome to HD
Quite a few of us Canadians around, so you're in good company.
Sounds like you have the base for a nice keg still!
Have fun and play safe!

Welcome, from Alberta!
I've been doing this less than two years and I've build 2 stills. Making and improving equipment is almost as fun as distilling and drinking.
Good luck!
