Picking up some brewing things today for my new venture of cider off an online advert, I spotted a condensor and we got chatting. I nodded and agreed (for politeness) as everything I learned from here was wrong.
Running a homemade reflux I think (I'm pot so not sure)

Turbo yeast
No heat input controls
Cuts by temperature ( don't ask me how based on point above)
Less that 10% head cut
And many more things

I'll keep doing as I am though, I love my medicine. UJSSM (modified to use barley) and Odin's Cornflake whiskey.
