If you can fit one in the 5g vessel i’d start with that. You can add more after a couple months if needed and toast/char differently if you want. I like to leave the pieces longer like that too depending on the vessel so the end sticks up out of the likker.

I dropped them in the keg last night. I've got enough SF white to do maybe another 2 gal. I think I'll put some on a alligator Char and see how that turns out.
