Yep...it looks like a barrel.
But who made it? Where’s the sales from, ie - who are you buying it from? Shipping cost -TBD? Does it come with a bung? How about a stand? What about a tap?
It’s hard to determine the “true value” without more data. Sure, the cask “looks great”, but there is much more to a “deal” than that.
I bought a 5 gallon cask for $129 USD, but it didn’t include a bung ($10 USD), or shipping ($25 USD). And it did not include a stand, which I’ve since had to make. Otherwise, it is a well built barrel.

Duro, if you have the budget for it, the Gibbs folks in Arkansas make a fabulous barrel. They are more expensive than what you show above, but, they are truly quality product.
Re: Any comments on this
If the answers to the questions asked are positive, that is a good price for a 5 gallon barrel. I am guessing if it’s American Oak it’s made in the US but probably shouldn’t make that assumption.
Re: Any comments on this
It's from adventure in home brewing its American oak no stand but it has a bung unfortunately I waited too long and all they have now is once used whiskey barrel for the same price thinking I'll go for one of those

I haven't looked at 5 gallon barrels in a while, but lots of places make them. Shop around a wee bit.

I own one 5G cask made by Gibbs. It is a solidly built work of art. Give them a call and talk to some really nice people. I paid approx $225 for a 5G cask, extra bungs, a stand, and shipping. This was 4 years ago. If you talk right, you can get them to throw in a few pieces of stave cut offs too.
🎱 The struggle is real and this rabbit hole just got interesting.
Per a conversation I had with Mr. Jay Gibbs regarding white oak barrel staves: “…you gotta get it burning good.”

Check out barrelsonline.com - they have very decent prices. Shipping is ~$9/barrel for the 2L ones I ordered. Probably goes up the larger the barrel.

My question is do you want it primarily because it looks nice or for the function of oaking your hooch?
5Gal Cornelius kegs are cheap and so are repurposed oak barrel staves which you can char yourself and throw into the keg with the product, same result, less questions, less cost.
