So many great movies and shows recited above. Yall hit every one that I would have said. But I reckon my 2 favorite shows would be " True Grit" original and " Outlaw Josey Wales". John Wayne and Clint Eastwood.
Oh, did anyone mention "Sons of Katie Elder"? Another good one.
Simple Lil' Pot Still, no temp guage, no carbon, no scrubbers, nuthin' fancy. Sometimes use a thumper, sometimes don't.

Mongo like Blazing Saddles.
