my friends, this is why there is zoom. started a new meeting on my computer, sent an invite email to my cell phone, hooked in and put the cell phone where i could supervise the still and the distillate jar, go out and change jars every 15 minutes or so, but i have visual so i don't have to worry about overflow.

Re: distilling on zoom
Plenty of us here, myself included, have stories about bad things that happen, in the shortest time imaginable, when you are running a still. You really shouldn’t remotely monitor your still.

Vernue, your not the first to think of such a thing...all sorts of bizarre contraptions have been set up to watch stills from other places. None are condoned by this forum as far as I am aware.....leaving your still is never a good idea.
I suggest you read a lot of the posts that come up in the following search " Search found 630 matches: unattended still".
