Digiboil 35L (220v) plug conversion

Post by Voodoorumrunner »

Just received my 35L Digiboil (220V). With that, the boiler is equipped with a 3 prong plug but my dryer outlet is fitted for a 4 prong plug :? . So, my thought is to simply run to Home Depot by a new 4 prong plug and change them out and start boiling.

I took the bottom off and attached pictures of the wiring with current 3 prong plug. My question is, will it be possible to switch to the 4 prong? If so, how would I attached wiring from 4 prong plug to the boiler based on pics? Finally, any ideas on strain relief?

Thanks,
