Hello from Canterbury, New Zealand

Post by twistylisty »

Hi all

First time distilling I've been brewing all grain beer for a while now (6ish years) and I've decided to get into distillation. I've quickly realised there is quite a bit too it and I'm trying to find the best place for answers to all of my questions and processes.

I am using a Grainfather as the boiler as that is what I use for all grain. Attached to the grainfather is a T500 Copper Condenser. It was relatively cheap to buy as that was all I needed however after going through a lot of posts here, it sounds like it won't be long before I end up with a pot still?

I have lots of questions however introducing myself before I start bombarding you all with them!

Thanks.

Assume I should post questions in the correct forums instead of here?

Yes that is the protocol . Reason is that often good questions and answers get lost in the 100,000 odd welcome posts . Its a way to keep all the info in relavent areas of the forums .

Cheer's Yummyrum.
Yeah Christchurch has definitely changed over time. Hard to believe it's almost been 10 years now.

Thanks for your tips. Created a post in a different forum earlier: https://homedistiller.org/forum/viewtop ... 7#p7651537
