Oak 30L barrel
Hi I am planning to buy 30L Oak barrel and it's made from Ukrainian Carpathian oak anybody have barrel like that ? What's taste notes does it gave ? From what I read it's not as nice as American or French for example but probably still better than aging it in the glass ?

You worry too much. If you got it … use it!
But a note about size … it’ll take a while to mature in a larger cask because of the surface to volume ratio. That’s OK for the product, but challenging for your patience. Aging in glass is quicker for this reason and a lot of newbies prefer a “quick drink” rather than wait on proper aging.
But, YMMV.
