buying a ultrsonic cleaner

Post by SpiffyStump »

Well I am looking into buying a ultrasonic cleaner for rapid flavoring. I want to be able to atleast to 4 quart jars at once, and I dont want the cleaner to turn off after a small amount of time like some do, I want it to atleast run for 2 hours, although i dont think you need but 30 minutes and its pretty well flavored but I want ot be able to experiment with it but would also like to hear from people that have been using the cleaners for a while and now whats best to use and how long, or maybe its a bad idea? I definitly will not be doing microwave flavoring, I dislike microwaves, I do not use or own one and never will. also would it matter what type of wood i use? chips, cubes, spirals, sticks? I have heard from some people the sticks are the best, why I do not know, I still have not looked into that, guess I should take 10 mins to do that, but anyways! hope to get some good answers. Thanks!

If you haven’t found this thread yet. It is worth a read. Odin also did a lot early on with US machines.
