So I was wanting to use the Trap for a pot still without having to cut and fabricate. So here is the Trap in the two possible orientations. I am hoping that the trap can be used like this. In the first orientation there is a red circle at the output. This is where the pipe drops below the outlet and there would be minimal damming of distillate. Neither look pretty.
If neither orientation is ideal then perhaps venture an opinion on how your would cut it. On the right of the sketch is how I originally wanted to cut it but this will take a little patience an work, also there are no straight bit for the ferrules to this will require a little persuasion.
