The first official stripping run that I did, after 2 sacrificial alcohol runs, was Jimbo’s AG single malt recipe.
I didn’t clear the wash properly which caused the boiler to burp a little in to my column despite putting fermcap in before starting it up.
The distillate came out a little yellow which, after researching, is a sign of burping/puking. I read that there’s no big problem as long as I plan to do a spirit run.
My plan was to complete 3 batches of the same recipe and then combine them for a stripping run which would be close to 4 gallons of distillate.
After completing my 2nd stripping run batch, I noticed that the gallon from the first batch was no longer yellow. It was clear with some greenish floating clouds near the bottom. I was worried that I needed to throw it out, up before doin so, I decided to run it through a doubled- up paper coffee filter.
(See pics)
After filtering the distillate, it is now clear of floating greenish clouds.
My question is, should I still be concerned about keeping this product?
Should I throw it out or go ahead with my original plan?
Thank you for any advice or response.

Carry on with your plan you've removed what the puke brought over, the spirit run will take care of any residuals.

Those clouds in your low wines after a strip of an oily wash are a fairly common issue. I’ve experienced it a handful of times myself before I learned more about proper fermentation processes. Most of the advice I’ve seen on this is that it’s not a problem as long as you are going to process low wines again in a spirit run. Do an HD Google search for blue distillate or blue clouds to see lots of talk/pics.
My understanding is that this is caused by an excess of nutrients high in Nitrogen.

100%! d-(^^,) have to filter mine on occasion, and i'm a pot still w/ a thumper (single run). only thing i would throw out there is... switch to unbleached coffee filters. granted, it's a personal preference, but the brown ones don't have the chemicals and additives that the bleached/white ones do. as always... IMHO!
keep cruisin brudda!

Not an issue. If you are able or are concerned run wash through a coffee filter then do spirit run. I get this when I run the still to hard and get foaming and a puke during strip run.

The green color is indicative of a pH issue. Too high.
