Tsunami warning
Freedom had been hunted round the globe; reason was considered as rebellion; and the slavery of fear had made men afraid to think. But such is the irresistible nature of truth, that all it asks, and all it wants, is the liberty of appearing.

Re: Tsunami warning
In this area the warning states " stay off the beaches today" don't think they are predicting a lot to happen in this neck of the woods.

The shockwave on the satellite view is absolutely crazy.

That image is amazing. Haven't been around the TV to keep up with what’s happening.

I was watching this morning as the waves were coming in on Pacific Beach, and Westport. 1 to 3 foot rollers. Not much more than any stormy day on the coast, except it was a beautiful day for January in Washington.
Fear and ridicule are the tactics of weak-minded cowards and tyrants who have no other leadership talent from which to draw in order to persuade.

I live in the north of NZ, about 2000 kms (1200 miles) from the Volcano.
We're about 30kms (18 miles) from the coast. I could clearly hear explosions from the eruptions! We walked around outside trying to work out what it was and saw it reported later than there were more eruptions and people hearing them in NZ.
There was quite a lot of damage done to boats at the Tutukaka Marina near us, from the tidal surge. Some of the boats smashed the tops off other boats!
