Vessel / Tank for mixing, blending and proofing

Hey Guys,

I want to optimize my process and blend, mix and proof my recipes in a larger amount. Therefore I am looking for a tank with a capacity between 500 and 1.000 Litres. Right now I have a <100l tank that I put on a scale, weight, add water (for proofing) and for example simple-sirup (for sweet liquors). After that I mix everything in the tank with a steel paddle. But it would be nice to do it in a more professional way and a few batches in one go (500-1.000l instead of <100l).

Does anyone of you have experience and recommendations for me? I have heard some (small) distilleries don't use tanks with (ex-proof) agitators, they use their alcohol pump instead to mix everything. I don't know, if that works for sweet liquors...
