Hello from Ottawa

Hi I’ve been brewing for a few years now (mostly meads) and excited to get into distilling. I got myself a Brewhaus 8 gal essential extractor gin series still. I’ve been doing my homework on distilling for about a year but the more I learn the more I realize how much more there is to learn. I think I’m now ready to get some actual practice in. Ran my still a couple times just distilling water to get the feel for it but going to move on to some sugar washes next. Can’t wait to keep learning.

Sounds like you're on the right track. I similarly read for a long time before actually diving in.

Lots to get though but reach out if you can't find the answer anywhere.

welcome in leafssuck. i'm no hockey puck, but i'll take your word for it....but speaking of sux, i think i heard somewhere the oilers finally won a game...could just be a rumour tho...LOL

Oilers back in the day were pretty good.. I take it your that way.. used to live out there.. was always nice trips to the foothills of the mountains.

The Oilers are doing better in the standings then my Sens right now and they still have the best player in the league so it can’t be all that bad.
