A question for those that have used bubble plates.
They are considered very efficient for 3" - 4" ++ columns.
Would I get any benefit if I used two of these with my 2" column/sight glass? one top & one bottom. I'm thinking of using these with the addition of copper mesh & rashig rings or the S/S ones that 'Still Spirits' supply with their T500 still.
I am using the 'Mile Hi' dual purpose 8 gallon rig.
I have read that with the larger bubble plates, each one can equal one roll of copper mesh - I'm not anticipating they would give the same benefit for a 2" column?.
The ones I am considering buying are very cheap $18.90 / £15.00 each free p&p I have seen them going for more than twice this price. I would be pleased to hear your comments please. Thanks - See attachments.
