I've sampled some homebrew before, but now I've decided to play with some myself! Hoping to avoid some of the pitfalls and troubles and this looks like a good resource to steer me clear.

I've taken the sage advice and have been reading and reading more. I'll (hopefully) keep the questions on the 'previously unanswered' side of the line.
