This is a grappa not a whiskey but I like the name (Garagiste Grappa - Nectar of the Goddess) and label of a “pot still” turning grapes into the wonderful nectar! Non commercial only and no that’s not my real name lol.

Cheers!

I haven't made my 1st run yet but I'll name them the same way I name my pets and my beers. I see how it was, what it took to make it, what happened while making, and best of all what happened 2 weeks after. So, I've had "Shadow trippin" ale, for a friend trying to avoid his shadow. PITA for the cat that is a Pain In The Ass, Blueberry Puke (don't ask), Grasshoppers Ale, (yup 3 jumped in), and then there is the best one K.I.S.S. ale (keep it simple stupid) that I brew for parties, waddings , and funerals, (you cant spell funeral without FUN). Why should my distills be different ?
If it is worth doing, then it is worth overdoing.

I was dropping a jar off for a friend and I was pondering the same questions as I was sitting at the stoplight stop light I noticed water collecting in the intersection and all of a sudden it come to me still water distillery. It was a cloudy day with the sun peaking through and the reflection on the standing water in the intersection was amazing. I'm soon found out that there is a distillery in Canada that goes by the same name so Sue me. As far as product names they usually come from my childhood, things and places I was associated with when I spent the summers on my Uncle's farm.

No quarter given. It's my distillate from six row i get from brew store in 50 sack.its the plain Jane base malt. I always ferment NQG with Nottingham ale yeast. And i strip down deep into tails. I take the heads plus some because i use that for a sanitizers for topical use. I always denature with either eucalyptus or lavender oil to keep it from any possible contamination of my sipping whiskeys. Apologies i sidetracked
No quarter given.stripped runs get diluted with R/O water.rested overnight or when i get a chance to rerun a second time or if i fill up my conical strip another run then combine into the third pass thru my still, and one sip will have you thinking "Sweet Summer Rain"

I also lable with this XXX indicating 3 distillations.

I also mess around making brandy's also. But none of those have been up to naming like NQG.
