First cleaning of new setup

Many like to post about a first successful ferment (or first all grain mash), or first still built/bought or first good run of the still. Tell us about all of these great times here.

The vinegar run on my new reflux setup/updated Liebig. I maximized my head space for sure.

Nice. Does that deflag knock down all your vapors on your cleaning runs?
I think you'll be pretty happy with that once you get some hose management in place for all them cooling lines.

If you put a 90 elbow on the dephlegmator's outbound water line it won't kink. It wouldn't hurt to put one on both to ensure nothing can ever kink.

If it knocked down everything on the vinegar run, it'll knock down all your ethanol vapors.
