New guy here!
I have been researching column stills for quite sometime now and may almost be ready to jump in with both feet.
Pre-made vs DIY Keg boiler comes down to cost for me.
I keep adding bells and whistles to my Keg plans that it keeps pulling me back to pre-made as I’m at over $450CAN right now, all in.
Next is the column…
Trying to make a decision on size 3” or 4”.
Thinking 4” is too big. But, thinking 2” is too small.
But more importantly glass bubble vs flute.
Really like the glass with bubble plates but think the flat plate might be easier to clean and maintain.
Still a little more research to do!
And that’s where I’m sitting right now!
