Keg thumper - 3" or 4" clean out?

Keg thumper - 3" or 4" clean out?
I'm working on getting my thumper together, using a 15.5 gallon keg. Any thoughts as to a 3" or 4" clean out welded to the top? 4" might make cleaning easier but might be a tight fit.
