Trust me on this one … it DOES. So much so, just reading this brought a tear to my eye.

Still_stirrin I have found as I get older the hair grows in my nose and ears but not on the top of my head.

Love it.
I forget many ordinary words now; but my gerontologist assures me it is not dementia. Thankfully.
I first went to him a couple of years ago so he could see me while I was okay.
Then he can watch me go downhill. I hope not.
But anyway that seemed to make sense.

In the Old West, the most notorious cussers by far were the original “bullwackers” (freighters that drove large teams of oxen, while walking alongside, bullwhips in hand). “Bullwackers”, followed closely by muleskinners, took a sort of serious professional pride in their ability to curse fluently, and loudly.Old Dog New Tricks wrote: ↑Mon Oct 03, 2022 2:33 pm

Carpenters, plumbers and electricians with any experience, all know how to turn the air blue. Not sheetrockers, insulators or painters so much, cause these generally lack the acumen or mental where-with-all to string obnoxious curse words together in a meaningful or poetic fashion. It's an art form.

Edit to add: To be fair to those trades, carpentry, plumbing and electrics all generally offer far greater potential for self-harm. Which is often a source of inspiration for cursing.
