Are the feints from pot-still runs?
Mostly, yes. I have some from the Boka.
Sorry, I had a brain fart and also didn't read close enough.
Here's a thought.
Pour everything in the pot, dilute if needed and do a potstill run with narrow cuts.
Save the feints from the Rumski run, then use the Boka to squeeze out the last bit of neutral alcohol.
An option for 1 run and done.
Would be to use the boka on the feints.
Take off the foreshots and heads real slow, then take off the hearts at a much faster rate.
When the hearts cut is done, shut off the heat and drain the pot.

I don't recycle any feints from my Bokakob as both ends are nasty. The heads go straight to the firelighter jar and the tails go under the lemon tree.
Yeah, I guess that would make sense, if the boka is doing it's job. Not much to extract from them.
I want to update my previous post regarding running all feints using sodium carbonate. I was initially very impressed with the results and recovered a good amount of "hearts" in the run. However, after months of sitting on the shelf and making some liqueurs using the feints run I am dumping them out out of caution. I can taste the sodium carbonate or at least think I can and don't believe this would be good to consume. I am dumping them out and will never run a feints run again using "soda wash". Maybe I am being over cautious but I put my liver through enough stress as it is. Thumbs down!
