I need to leave a little bit more to this post. I have enjoyed reading this site. Tons of information here great recipes and reading on projects.
I run a pot still with a 4 mason jar rig. I enjoy making traditional liquor with my touch on it.

I’m sure others will comment on the Mason jars. There are some safety concerns there. But I’m curious about the purpose of the valves both before and after the thumper rig. I don’t think you would need any of them, but where do the two vertical pipes go?

The valves before and after thumpers are bi-pass valves. This allows me to run fores off with out running it through my jars. Plus if there is a leak with a jar seal I can bi- pass it and fix the leak and then back to running.
As for safety of the mason jars I have never had a problem with cracking or breaking. Unless I drop them that has happened lol. The two pipes are just up to a bi-pass line when photo bucket is done with maintenance I will post a better photo.

Welcome, HW.
If you want to learn, this is a great place.
The discussion of your rig should probably be moved to an appropriate thread, as this one is just for introductions.
If you haven't yet, read the required reading found at the bottom of every page here.

No worries. That was just my advice. These old farts here didn't name it required reading for no reason.
