Long story short my father passed away no long ago and we are just getting around to clearing out the deep freezer in the basement. As I was getting towards the bottom of the freezer it was packed with frozen hand picked black berries, and I also seen some peaches. The date on the freezer tape was in the 87-89 range. Probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 15-20 gallon of fruit in total.
Would it be worth trying to thaw and feed them to some yeast, or just chuck it? They are all in the old plastic quart freezer containers. Figured I’d ask here before throwing them out.
