Yeast quesrion?
Hi, i have been away from the hobby for a while and coming back into it. I found a box of Montachet yeast that i was unaware i still had. However, its dated 2016. Is there a realm of possibility that it could still be good? Thank you!

Welcome this is not the place to ask questions but to introduce yourself. But to answer your question I have used expired yeast with success. If it doesn’t work add newer yeast.

My name is Dan. I have been away from the hobby for a couple years and coming back. Since then i have moved to a new home and actually am in the process of building my own kitchen for brewing beer, wine, cider, etc...

Welcome Dan. Good luck with the yeast, my expired stuff usually works fine especially if you kept it in stable conditions.
I just read an article about the dangers of drinking that scared the crap out of me.
That’s it. No more reading!
