Hey man, did anything ever come of the experiment? How was the yeast from that NC supplier?

Thanks for dragging this up. I have a bunch of jackfruit and dragon fruit I my area. I was thinking about using some pitaya with a camote vodka. Now I will try to build a rum recipe with them using cane juice.

Sending out kudos for the yeasts discussed in this thread hoping they have been been building in the background — or have they fallen dormant?
